- Be between 18 and 26 years old at the time of application
- Have a passport
- Have a German proficiency certificate (usually A1 level)
- Have a motivation letter
Stay duration
- Minimum stay of 6 months and maximum stay of 12 months
- You may not have more than one au pair stay, even with a different family
